  • 8 cups Leaf Lettuce torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 slices Bacon chopped
  • ¼ cup Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. 2. In the same skillet, add vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to the bacon drippings. Stir until sugar is dissolved and the mixture is heated through.
  3. 3. Place the lettuce in a large mixing bowl. Pour the hot dressing over the lettuce and toss to wilt.
  4. 4. Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the top and serve immediately.
