Ingredients 

Gyro Meat Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Lamb
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, marjoram, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and press it down firmly to remove any air pockets.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
