Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 stalks Lemongrass cut into 2-inch pieces and smashed
  • 3 slices Galangal sliced thinly
  • 4 leaves Kaffir lime leaves torn
  • 200 grams Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Tom Yum paste
  • 2 units Red chili sliced
  • 1 handful Cilantro chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a pot.
  2. 2. Add lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add shrimp and mushrooms. Cook until shrimp is pink and opaque.
  4. 4. Stir in fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, and Tom Yum paste. Simmer for another 3 minutes.
  5. 5. Add red chili and cilantro. Serve hot.
