Instructions
In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, sugar, water, fish sauce, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and chili flakes. Simmer for another 2 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water and add to the saucepan. Stir until the sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and let it cool. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
