- 2 cups Cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon Butter melted
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, salt, and baking soda.
Add the buttermilk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Pour the batter into a greased cast iron skillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
