Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80/20 blend
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 4 slices Cheese American or Cheddar
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your griddle or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and roll them into balls.
  3. Place the beef balls onto the hot griddle and smash them flat with a spatula.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy.
  5. Flip the patties, add cheese, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the griddle until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers and serve hot.
