Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 3 pounds corned beef brisket with spice packet
  • 10 cups water
  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 6 medium carrots peeled and cut into chunks
  • 3 pounds potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 medium head cabbage cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. Place corned beef brisket into a slow cooker. Add water, onion, and included spice packet.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Add carrots and potatoes, cook for an additional 2 hours.
  4. Add cabbage and cook for another 1 hour.
  5. Remove meat and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice and serve with vegetables.
