Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently. Pat into a 1-inch thick circle and cut into 8 wedges.
  6. Place the wedges on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
