Quiche Lorraine Recipe

Crust
- 1 unit Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
Filling
- 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 3 units Eggs large
- 1 pinch Nutmeg freshly grated
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Sprinkle the cooked bacon and shredded Gruyere cheese evenly over the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
