  • 2 large Onions sliced into rings
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 quart Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Dip onion rings into the flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Whisk milk and egg together in a separate bowl.
  5. Dip floured rings into the milk mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry the rings a few at a time for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
