Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced
  • ½ cup Red Onion sliced

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  5. Warm the pita bread on the grill for about 1 minute on each side.
  6. Assemble the sandwiches by placing sliced chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced red onion inside the pita bread.
