Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon ginger, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the cooked ground beef and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve the beef over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
