Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them well.
  2. Add sugar, mirin, soy sauce, and salt to the eggs. Mix well.
  3. Heat the tamagoyaki pan over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  4. Pour a thin layer of the egg mixture into the pan. Once it starts to set, roll it to one side of the pan.
  5. Pour another thin layer of egg mixture into the pan, lifting the rolled egg to let the uncooked egg flow underneath. Once it starts to set, roll it again.
  6. Repeat until all the egg mixture is used up. Remove from the pan and let it cool slightly before slicing.
