Jamaican Oxtail Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs oxtail
- 2 tablespoon browning sauce
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can butter beans drained
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
1. Season the oxtail with salt and pepper.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Brown the oxtail on all sides.
3. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and thyme to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
4. Stir in the browning sauce and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the oxtail is tender.
5. Add the butter beans and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
6. Serve hot with rice or your favorite side dish.
