Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices White Bread
  • 1.5 pounds Roasted Turkey Breast sliced
  • 8 slices Tomato
  • 8 slices Bacon cooked

Mornay Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk warmed
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in the warm milk and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the slices of bread on a baking dish. Top each slice with turkey and a slice of tomato.
  5. Spoon the Mornay sauce generously over each sandwich.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until the sauce is bubbly and lightly browned, about 10-15 minutes.
  7. Top each sandwich with two slices of cooked bacon and serve immediately.
