Main Ingredients
- 8 slices White Bread
- 1.5 pounds Roasted Turkey Breast sliced
- 8 slices Tomato
- 8 slices Bacon cooked
Mornay Sauce
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 4 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- 2 cups Milk warmed
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in the warm milk and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
Place the slices of bread on a baking dish. Top each slice with turkey and a slice of tomato.
Spoon the Mornay sauce generously over each sandwich.
Bake in the preheated oven until the sauce is bubbly and lightly browned, about 10-15 minutes.
Top each sandwich with two slices of cooked bacon and serve immediately.
