In a large bowl, dissolve honey in warm water, then stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.
Mix in whole wheat flour, salt, and vegetable oil. Work in all-purpose flour until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
Punch down the dough, shape into a loaf, and place into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pans.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
