Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger, sliced
  • 1 inch Fresh Turmeric, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (optional)

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the sliced ginger and turmeric to the boiling water.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Strain the tea into a teapot or directly into mugs.
  5. 5. Add honey and lemon juice if desired. Stir well and serve hot.
