Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Yeast
  • ½ cup Warm water
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add flour, milk, vegetable oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  3. 3. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. 4. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 pieces. Shape each piece into a bun.
  5. 5. Place the buns in a steamer lined with parchment paper. Let them rise for another 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Steam the buns over medium heat for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.
