Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cleaned
- 2 large Carrots chopped
- 2 stalks Celery chopped
- 1 large Onion quartered
- 3 cloves Garlic crushed
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 leaves Bay Leaves
- 8 cups Water
- 1. Place the chicken in a large pot and cover with water. 
- 2. Add the carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and bay leaves. 
- 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours. 
- 4. Strain the broth and discard the solids. 
- 5. Let the broth cool before storing or using.
