Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken about 4 pounds
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 can Beer 12 oz can
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
Rub the chicken with olive oil and season it with paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Open the beer can and take a few sips (or pour out about ¼ of the beer). Place the beer can on a solid surface and lower the chicken onto the can so that the can fits into the cavity of the chicken.
Transfer the chicken onto the grill, balancing it on the beer can. Close the grill lid and cook for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
Carefully remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
